1. Do you have smaller, or single axle trailers?
Smaller tandems, yes. They go down to 6'x12'. On rare occasions we'll do single axles, and are currently in the process of designing a single axle deckover for quads, but if you're looking for a really small single axle trailer for as cheap as possible, better look elsewhere.

2. If I bought "item X", would you install it?
No, mainly due to time restraints. The biggest installation request is for brake controllers, which could potentially take about 4 hours. All other installable items is normally on a mail order basis.

3. Can I get an enclosed trailer cheap?
We're not set up to offer these cost effectively. "Enclosed" and "cheap" doesn't go together in the same sentence anyway!

4. Can I build walls and a top and make my own enclosed trailer?
It's possible, but not recommended, especially for tall walls. The stake pockets are designed for shorter wooden rails, not as an architectural foundation.

5. Can I get a steel floor trailer?
You can, but you may not like the prices. The diamondplate used for our trailers is expensive, and it takes a lot of effort to install properly, so costs have to be covered.

6. Will you lower the price and cut me a really good deal?
We already are! We make every attempt to keep prices as low as possible. There is simply no room for significant negotiation. In the rare event that you do find a lower price on a seemingly identical trailer, you're probably overlooking something.

7. Can I stop by and have you fix/upgrade this other trailer that I've got?
We'd rather not! Please check with the place you bought it from first.

8. How do I replace the wood if it starts to rot?
You will have to cut one of the metal caps holding the boards in, replace the wood, then weld the caps back in. It is recommended that a local professional shop handle this job.

9. Will the used tires hold up and be ok to haul this object from here to there?
Probably the toughest question ever. The tires are, in fact, used. That means that somebody else thought they were worn enough to need replacing. I've seen people haul a car from here to California and back on the used tires with no problem. Then again I've seen one pop 20 miles away when hitting a pot hole. Even the new tires aren't guaranteed, as we are not a tire dealership, so obviously we can't guarantee used ones. If you want a guarantee, get some new tires from your local tire dealership and bring them with you, then you'll have a road hazard warranty.

10. Do I really need trailer brakes?
We're kind of obligated to say that we recommend that you get all the braking power that you can afford. At the minimum, at least get what is legally required in your state. Otherwise, it's a matter of physics. Often times with these trailers, tow vehicles are having to stop over twice their own weight. Obviously there may be some braking performance issues there.

11. What would cause my lights to not work or otherwise act funny?
More than likely, you have a bad ground. This is especially true of vehicles from up north where the road crews are salt happy. Our trailers are wired to be grounded through the hitch. If the receiver is corroded, you may have issues. Most of the time wiring the ground in the plug to the frame of the trailer will magically make it work fine.

12. Why do winch plates cost so much?
We are normally lower than the big mail order companies regarding this issue, but some people still think they're way too expensive. Probably the biggest misconception here is due to the term "plate". Yes, alot of fabricated mounts are as simple as it sounds. However, if you order a winch manufacturer's "mounting kit", normally it's more complex than that, since they are engineered to fit your vehicle perfect, be as safe as possible, include all needed hardware, etc.

13. Do you have this trailer in stock so I can check it out first?
Most of our trailers are custom built from scratch to your specifications. This means that the trailer you're thinking about getting probably doesn't exist yet. We try to provide as much literature as possible so you can make an informed decision, but if you are still unsure about what to order, contact us and we'll try to help.

14. But where am I going to put my ramps?
Most people just throw the ramps in the back of their truck or SUV. However, ramp carriers are available for an additional charge. Similar questions arise with other options, or lack thereof. These trailers are as nice as you want to pay for. Most people just don't want to pay extra for some options. On the flip side, you could easily double the trailer's cost if you got trigger happy with choosing options. You can get anything you want... it's all just a balance of what you feel is important.

15. What's the turnaround/build time on trailers?
Normally it will be ready 5 business days after at least a 25% deposit is received. Certain special options that take a long time to make, or items that are special ordered from a third party manufacturer such as winches, may take longer. When it is complete, we will call or email you, and at that time we would make an appointment for delivery or pickup.

16. Can I have my trailer delivered the same time as someone else to save on delivery?
Normally, no, unless you can order multiple trailers with the same order and assume full responsibility for unloading them. The unloading part normally never crosses people's mind's. We have to take the wheels off and stack them on top of each other, and they weigh like 1,500 pounds each. The only way to unstack them is with an awkward overhead hoist setup, or with a forklift with extended forks. The other thing is that even if this situation were possible to accommodate, it's rare for two people that live close by to want full delivery on a trailer at the same time.
